The Camp David Accords did very little to settle the fighting bewteen Egypt and Israel. Carter got Anwar El Sadat of Egypt and Israeli Prime Minister Menachen Begin. Carter got Egypt to reconize Israel without conflict. However Sadat was shot two years after the accord and the peace ended.
