Thomas Jefferson was a strong supporter of the press before and after he was president. The media played an important role when he was running for president in 1800 but now in 2010 only Fox News is the only network actually doing the job of reporting while CNN is falling apart. Jefferson would not be pleased with how the country is being run today.
