The United States was founded on religious freedom, so how come debate over a mosque near Ground Zero has been causing controversy. Islam isn't a religon of peace, its a religion of violence. At Cordoba they slaughtered thousands of Catholics and Christian building a Mosque to replace a church. The Muslims need a place to worship but not near a site were they murdered thousands of people.
Yes, but people are mistaken that this is an issue of religious freedom. Not even close. No one has come close to saying a mosque cannot be built, in fact, the exact opposite. Everyone says go build the mosque....just not next to the place where Muslims killed 3000 innocent people!
