Kevin Harvick has been viewed as the major championship contender and the man who could end the 48's streak of championship. RCR's last championship was in 1994 when Dale Earnhardt tied Richard Petty with his 7th championship. Harvick who did take over after the Dale Earnhardt could possibly win RCR's first post Earnhardt championship.
