1999 was really a turning point for Ferrari, they hadn't won a constructor championship in nearly sixteen years. Mika Hakkinen allready won back to back world championships but Eddie Irivne and Michael Shumacher who had been out for most of season ended up wining the drivers championships the first for Ferrari since 1983.
