Ayrton Senna and Alan Prost had to be the greatest F1 rivalry of all time, Senna was defending world champion in 1989 and Prost was a two time world champion, at Suzaka the second to last race of the 1989 season the two crashed into each other. The result saw Senna disqualified and Prost won his third world championship, Prost would drive for Ferrari for the next two years and Senna went on to win back to back world championships.
