One year before wining his third Daytona 500 and his final career, Bobby Allison become the oldest winner ever at Daytona at the age of 49 at the 1987 Firecracker 400. Allison would then go on to become the oldest winner of the Daytona 500 in 1988 by finish 1-2 with his son Davey.
