Chip Ganassi's five straight championships in the mid 90s resulted in a wining team. First it was Alex Zanardi who won back to back championships for Ganassi and then came Juan Pablo Montoya who went on to win the championship in only his first attempt. Sure Zanardi made Ganassi the team to beat but Montoya really pushed Ganassi's dominance to its peak when he won the championship in 1999.
