The 1981 Indy 500 has to be one of the most controversal races in the history of the Indianapolis 500. Bobby Unser won his third Indy 500 but then the following day Mario Andretti was declared the winner meaning that Mario's second win at the Brickyard was short lived but after a dispute that lasted for nearly the entire summer, Unser was declared the winner.
