Benny Parsons greatest moments in his Nascar career were wining the 1973 champion with only one race and 1975 Daytona 500 by avoiding an incident to win the race. After he retired from driving, Parsons went on to become a broadcaster for ESPN, NBC, and TNT until his death in 2007. Parsons clearly was one of Nascar's most colorful drivers both on and off the track.
