Both Memorial day races the Indy 500 and the Coca Cola 600 ended in the most surprising way. JR. Hildebrand was leading the final two laps but crashed on the final lap giving the victory to Dan Wheldon who was driving for Brian Herta a former teammate. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was leading the last lap of Coca Cola 600 but he ran out and fuel and Kevin Harvick took the win.
