Paul Tracy's dominance in Champ Car in 2003 was perhaps the last great season before the unification between Champ Car and Indycar, when all of the big names in Indycar such as Ganassi and Andretti Green left in 2003, Tracy was the only big name left in Champ Car. Wining the championship was easly he had to take on drivers like Bruno Junqueria who was runner up in 2002 and he did that by beating all of the other young shots in Camp Car.
