Ronald Reagan's view on the Cold War was capitalism wins and Communism loses, calling the Soviet Union an evil empire meant Reagan knew it was going to collapse and it did. SDI showed the Soviet Union couldn't keep up in the nuclear arms race and everything Reagan said happened.
